Linda Edna Cardellini's parents are businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born in Redwood City in California. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) is better known under her stage name Lily James, is an English actress from the UK. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career in the British television series Just William (2010). Cinderella was her breakthrough performance following her appearance playing Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James went onto portray the role of Countess Natasha Rostova, in the version on television of War & Peace, in 2016 and starred several films. These include the action movie Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018), and Yesterday (2019). Her character was nominated to win an Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
