She is most famous for her performance in the role of Marina Cooper, on Guiding Light's soap opera. Also known for Marcy Bender from Dawson's Creek. Her appearance was on two episodes of the Showtime show Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. She is best known for her character Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television show Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from Dawson's Creek. She also played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light, a role which earned her a 2004 Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination for Best Newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas from 2007 until the year 2008 in ABC's Women's Murder Club. The actress was on her 2012 NBC pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked-up.
