Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely popular American singer and actor. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion to perform on the age of a child. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mom signed up for an agent, was also auditioned for ads on newspapers and TV. Then she began taking private acting lessons. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater after the completion of her studies. Bell left the university in 2001, and began taking on the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her first credit debut playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. However, her scene was cut from the film and she was not even as a credit. Bell made an appearance in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
