Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Born and brought up in California, USA, she made her debut in modeling in Italy. In 1996 she made her first appearance as an actress in the TV movie titled 'Her Pricely Affair.' Then, as a supporting character in the movie "Starship Troopers," she struggled very hard. The transition between acting and modeling because model actors aren't always considered good actors, and they're generally given small, insignificant roles. Yet somehow, Amy did not give up and transitioned to bigger roles eventually, starting with the show 'The 70's" and the film "Varsity Blues".
